Just a spot for you to post your recent dreams. I regularly have noted interesting ones, here's a few amusing recent ones of mine:

A dream where I'm on a family vacation with my grandparents, but all I remember is them in bed and I'm sitting on a nearby chair talking with them. Both have passed away, and so it was surreal to have a conversation with them for the first time in years. When I woke up I was very sad because the experience of chatting with those who have died can only happen in dreams now.

A surreal dream in which I felt I was watching it, as though it was a film. Aliens have landed but humanity was able to repel their invasion. However, contact with the aliens has spread a infectious disease that causes victims to be severely disfigured and almost alien-like. The situation seems hopeless until it is discovered that the simple cure for the disease is just eating potatoes.

A very, VERY strange dream. I'm with a group of friends on a road trip, and apparently I must have been napping (which I never do), because we arrive in a city and then ask me to guess where we are at. I deduce correctly that it is Cleveland, Ohio of all places. The stores all sell "Ohio" themed merchandise which I find funny. I think this group of friends are all gay, and apparently we're there for Cleveland Pride. Any who, at one point the group goes to a large apartment building to look down at the pride parade below, and another one walking outside on a sidewalk for some reason. At this point the dream starts to feel like a movie, because I'm just watching this and not a part of it. Some type of security computer system realizes that one of the gays is a criminal and so the apartment building launches a missile (that's right) at the apartment. The apartment is destroyed, but when the police arrive, they find that the criminal was not at the apartment but instead the guy walking outside on a sidewalk. At this point, the apartment building lifts off and is revealed to be some sort of spaceship. It goes up into space, and several sections of it detach and form smaller spaceships. It heads out into space and then the dream ends.

A few notable ones from February 2023:

-Myself, my dad, two of my nieces, and my niece's daughter are moving into a very large house. It's strange that it's this group of ppl, who have never all lived together in the past. The house is about 3 stories, and is built with a few oddities. For example, there's a small kitchen in the master bedroom, there's also a loft bed that seems to overlook the living room, etc. The dream seems to be mainly about who is getting which bedroom.

-It's 2004, and I'm watching the tv and there are multiple news stories about Teresa Heinz Kerry and how she's worsening the Kerry campaign. In one segment, she's on a late night show talking about how John Kerry thinks more like a European than an American, and the audience boos. She is very confused and snappy to them. In another segment, she's arguing with a crowd about the Iraq War.

-There's a shooting at a university, and some officers are brought in to try to find the suspect. Somehow, classes are still going on and I'm one of the students. I'm casually chatting with a guy, and he is worried that people will think it's him because he dresses in a sloppy way. Class ends, and the police are chasing that guy. They shoot him, and when they examine him they realize that it wasn't him after all. There is a lightning storm going on at the same time, although it's not raining. Eventually it is discovered that the real suspect was incinerated by a lightning strike and that's why he wasn't easily found.

Had a sad dream that I tracked down by 6th grade teacher (in reality, I have no idea what happened to him), and I found him at a retirement home. I tried to explain who I was but during the conversation I could tell that he had dementia, and that I had waited too long to find him.

A few recent ones:

-Went to my sister's apartment, but it was designed very differently. There was a living room, and then there was a hallway that led to a second living room, and then from there were separate doors to individual bedrooms. Something frequent in my dreams is unusual architecture.

-I rarely have nightmares, but this was an unsettling dream. I'm letting this girl play on the piano that is in the living room, but when I walk away and go into the hallway, I hear these very disturbing growls. I walk back, but she is playing the piano as if nothing has happened. I walk away again, and I hear the growls again. When I walk back a third time, I walk slowly and look at a picture frame to see the reflection. In the reflection I see that the girl has transformed into some type of fiery demon or spirit, and she is on the floor growling in pain.

I was at a college, and there seemed to be some big event there, possibly some type of fair. I was there with co-workers (but not my real co-workers, these were fictional ones). We saw a small art gallery and then went outside to look at the rest of the campus.

A strange dream where I am a teenager (although it is taking place now) and my dad is taking me to school (which he rarely did). Right before he drops me off, he says to stay in the car because he sees a kid with a gun walking into the school, and we fear it's going to be a school shooting. He drives to the other side of the school and we try to warn students. I still don't hear any gunshots, so I am worried that it's a false alarm. Also, my dad is concerned about getting my sister out of school (but in reality her and I were never in high school at the same time). The dream ends without a resolution.

I was a teenager and playing baseball with my friends. It was wholesome and fun, and I was a bit sad when I woke up.

One of my most frequent dreams is when the architecture or landscaping of a real existing place is altered or under construction. In this case, my niece and dad were working on expanding the house, and adding two new rooms and a bathroom. Strange because this particular niece has no skills in this field at all.

A very sad dream where a few random friends and family members got cancer, had a short life expectancy of a few months, and then died.

A strange one where I'm watching the movie "The Sixth Sense" (which I have never seen), but instead of Haley Joel Osment's character seeing dead people, whenever he looks at real people, he sees their cause and date of death. Also, he can see how when people change their habits/make different choices, how it alters the cause and date of the death.

An unsettling dream. I feel like I'm watching the scene unfold but not part of the scene itself.  There's a young man who is walking in a residential area, and he walks close to an elementary school where kids are getting out of class. He randomly punches a student, walks faster and then mildly stabs another student. There's a commotion now, so he runs into the school and seems to be looking for someone. Then I wake up.

I rarely ever have dreams that are violent so this one was strange.

I was with a boyfriend (hypothetical, sad!) and we were at a large garden that had a very large fish pond. The boyfriend and I were feeding the fish pieces of HAM for some reason, and the fish really enjoyed it.

I was riding a bike (sharing a bike actually) with Sprouts through Midtown Manhattan

I had a dream that I was at some type of Selective Service System orientation with about 100 other guys. I saw a few of my old high school friends, and we were all wondering what branch of military we would get assigned to. But then, we all got assigned 4-F (idk how on earth I remembered that code) because we were all over 35 (yay!) and so we got to go home

A very strange dream that there was some sort of virus that was turning humans into alien-like creatures.

I was visiting the poster sprouts/smilo at some Ivy league grad school dorm. His friend with benefits came over to chat briefly, mainly about sprouts' stress over a paper he was writing. A bit later, sprouts and I went over to a train station, but our train was delayed and eventually cancelled. The reason was that some university student set a suicide bomb near a professor on the train, and it was because the professor has decided to end the relationship with the student.
