This would actually be normal most election cycles. For some reason this cycle everybody is announcing late.

Most people want to wait until April 1st due to it being the start of the fundraising quarter. Why that wasn't the case in past election cycles, I'm not sure.

I'm glad this election started later. 2008 was way too early.
