The first polls have closed and we can call Indiana and Kentucky for Governor Bush.

That puts Govenor Bush at 19 electoral votes, with President Gore at 0.

We can now call Georgia and South Carolina for Governor Bush, putting him at 42 electoral votes.

The first prize for President Gore is Vermont at 3 electoral votes.

The first polls have closed in Virginia and Florida, and they are both too close to call.

At 7:30 pm we can call West Virginia for Governor Bush, putting him at 47 electoral votes.
