Donald Trump Jr. declared the video of Stella Immanuel a “must watch,” while Donald Trump himself retweeted the video.

Before Trump and his supporters embrace Immanuel’s medical expertise, though, they should consider other medical claims Immanuel has made—including those about alien DNA and the physical effects of having sex with witches and demons in your dreams.

And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens."

A few weeks from now, there’s a good chance that those saying that Europe did so much better then the US at controlling the virus are going to look like Ron DeSantis bragging about how Florida responded better New York.

Spain has gone from averaging 300 cases/day a month ago to 2000 cases/day, and it looks like its second wave has just started growing.  Belgium, which already had the highest death rate in the world, has grown from 100 cases/day to 600 in the same time frame.  Even Germany has seen their cases double in the past two weeks.

Lockdowns do not prevent the spread of the virus, they just delay it.

Sure, and Florida could have said the exact same thing to New Jersey in May.

The problem in Spain isn’t even the total number of cases right now.  It is that after everyone had hailed them as a model response in contrast to the US, they’ve seen their cases double every week for the last three or four weeks.

I have said it before that DeSantis and the other southern governors had the privilege of seeing the mistakes made in New York/New Jersey and learn from them. Instead of that they tried to curry favor with Trump, ignored all warnings by the experts, and managed to make matters even worse.

Ok, but in that case Spain had the opportunity to see the mistake being made by all these places, including their own very drastic lockdown, and their cases are still doubling every week as of today.

It was inevitable for Spain and other tourism-dependent nations to experience a surge the moment they opened their borders (the same thing happens here too). The thing is that unlike DeSantis our governments are acknowledging the situation and in collaboration with the health experts are taking measures to contain the flare-ups.
