Horrible firing. Gunn's tweets were out in the public ten years now, and he actually apologized for them back in 2012.
Only a fool can believe that Disney didn't know about them, a routine background check would've been enough. They just did it because they were afraid the right-wing noise machine would attack and possibly complicate their acquisition of Fox.
