An Ohioan who loved Governor Cox and who was otherwise conservative, to the extent that they voted for the GOP in 1932 and 1936. Being Jewish, however, they were strongly internationalist and voted for Roosevelt because they wanted to the US to join the Allies immediately, or at least support them.
