As Americans of all backgrounds we love to listen to varieties of music daily but what is the most Liberal/Conservative type of music?

for rappers and hip hop both parties love this genre Lil Wayne/Pump endorsed Trump last year while Cardi B/Migos endorsed Biden.

For pop Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift theirselves voted for Biden in 2020 but there is both liberal and conservatives that like their music. Conservatives prefer Taylor's country era

faith hill, dixie chicks, willie nelson are all country stars but they supported democrats and famously dixie chicks criticized george bush back in 2003

hip hop is a mix of both liberals and conservatives and most but not all rappers are convicted felons that could not vote but snoop dogg voted last year

Here's my explanation why country is so conservative compared to other genres
Most country stars despite being based in Tennessee hail from rural areas where cowboy culture is strong fitting since Western genre is more conservative than any movie genre. Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood are all from Oklahoma the true country music capitol and alongside the state's rural location it was seen as the perfect place for some more prairie focused westerns to be filmed in and Gene Autry despite being Texas born was seen as one of the most influential singers in the genre's early days. Also the places where these singers grew up was full of rednecks-poor white southerners which were prejudiced to the more liberal norms of life. I can see why Blake Shelton angered GLAAD (LGBT organisation) and Jason Aldean's sons wore anti Biden shirts and defended them ironically the worst mass shooting in our nation's history had him perform while gunfire rang out. And everyone who follows celebrity news websites knew that Morgan Wallen said racial slurs earlier this year forcing him and the NAACP to discuss racism in the country genre which that genre is still predominantly white and has reckoned with artists of color in the genre.
