  Does any other country have the US dynamic of a rising case curve simultaneous to a continually declining or at least plateauing (at a much lower level than its peak) death curve?

Do the hospitalization numbers usually refer to people who are specifically in the hospital for covid reasons, or do they also refer to people in the hospital for other reasons who happen to also have covid?
