  Lets also keep our eyes on the overall big picture of legal immigration in the US since Donald became president.  So much of it is out of the presidents hands, and in fact overall legal immigration numbers are roughly the same as before, though of course in his state of the union Trump did call for increasing legal immigration (he was having a Koch brothers moment).
