Yay! I wish he was more badly injured.

Does this annoy some of atlas users? They probably wanted the thug to walk free.

As we all know, the only two options are beating someone to death and letting them go unimpeded.

He stole and threatened and was rightly subdued. He got what he deserved from the shopkeeps. No need to go further just to satisfy your bloodlust.
Growing up, my dad had a grocery store in inner city Memphis. He was an immigrant who spoke no English. He was able to comfortably provide for my family.

But theft was a huge concern. It wouldn't take much for the store to go under. Had someone stolen all the cigerates like the guy in the video, the store would go under. Thats tens of thousands of dollars.

That thug deserved to get beaten and arrested. Its too bad he wasn't crippled. Its a good thing this wasn't in California, the shop owner probably would have went to jail for trying to stop him.

Hell, you're the most unhinged teacher I've ever met, you sure you don't want to transition to dirty cop?
I would love to be a cop. I have great respect for law enforcment.

Like serving in the military, I don't think I am right mentally or physically for law enforcment or military. But I would have loved to do both.

Besides, I make more far money as a teacher and my various side gigs  than I ever would as a cop

I'm afraid to ask, but I feel that I must; what is your opinion of waterboarding?
It should be illegal. All forms of torture should be illegal. I am a Muslim-American and think Guantanamo Bay should be closed.

I would think brutally beating someone with a stick could be considered to be torture.
Its not.

You love to see it, only way to deal with criminals.

Tip to the crook: call 911 and get the police to take him away. It's better than the beating.

Better yet, find some way of life more honorable than crime.

Heavily-taxed cancerettes are a favorite object of theft because they are easy to fence.

The police never arrive on time.

How many of you think he should be allowed to walk free because of his beating?

The armed robber was not beaten, he was subdued. And even if the employees committed some crime in subduing him (IANAL, but I can't see anything I would consider a crime) then they should be facing charges of their own. The perpetrator is still an armed robber and needs to be prosecuted on that basis.
People on twitter are demanding the employees be arrested and the robber released
