Any scenario involving Gore actually campaigning with Clinton results in a Gore victory. Deciding against it was probably the most boneheaded move of his campaign.
I totally agree with you. Do you think that Gore would have defeated McCain if Clinton campaigned for Gore?
Yes. McCain is not a good campaigner. He's a good primary candidate because specific issues don't matter so much. But he's not a good general election campaigner. Of course neither is Gore, but Clinton would have been a huge factor.
