Congrats to Beard on finally arriving at the pinnacle. That'll leave Pikiell as the most underemployed power conference coach. Hoping for a John Beilein comeback at some point as well.

My guess is that Kellen Samspon may be the most likely replacement here as his father is probably happy with where he is and has found a great niche in Houston at this point in his life though there are tons of big time head coaching prospects in Texas.

Everyone who plays Baylor completely loses all ball handle. It's not just simple ball security when holding the ball (which Baylor might deserve some credit for). It's every loose ball going straight into their opponent's hands that is grabbed at so weakly. I can't believe Villanova had this team beat and decided to simply throw the ball backwards out of bounds like four times in seven possessions. What a disgrace.

Kudos to Baylor for nailing all their shots but worst championship game (margin + outcome) since like '06. Maybe '92? Prove me wrong in the final 12....
