The never-ending Atlas demographic survey continues with inspiration coming from a May YouGov poll that has remained on my mind for quite some time.

0=Completely Masculine
3=(Presumably equal parts of each)
6=Completely Feminine

Don't destroy the survey by biasing yourself from looking at the accompanying article first! Tongue [I did rate myself before looking at the results, which is probably a big part of why this has stayed on my mind.]

I am a bit curious - I suspect Atlas is far more British-like than American, but I will do it by age rather than region.

Although I pretty firmly reject the dichotomy and premise of "masculine/feminine."

Yeah, I thought this was a very odd system, that's why I wanted to see how people interpret this. I felt like I was doing it wong, but there's no real right way.

Oh, but there is a severely wrong way, and that's using decimals and ranges, meaning I should never have asked this place, haha.

Also, looking at the chart gives me a lot of hope for the future generations. Whatever flaws Millennials may have, they are by and large better than their predecessors.

America still has a long way to go :/
You are quite lucky in one sense as I'm sure mainland Europe must share more in common with the UK

I was with you until this. This is totally the other side of the scale.

You mean Drumpf's rhetoric is quintessentially feminine? Huh

Not quintessentially (phrases like "dummy" not so much), but he is very clearly the second most effeminate candidate (as at least 1, and I think 2 separate studies showed), which is why he's done so well. You seem to be forgetting that females often engage in these very same behaviors and what he has done to his rivals is rather feminine, yes.

I despise masculinity too, but I'd caution you to not turn it into a devilish/angelic dichotomy. It's a trap I've fallen into many times

E: the link is very good though. Strong agreement despite the abysmal eye-rolling intro.

I received 81/17 Feminine, which I guess is fair, but I don't see how "Introverted" fits into this as well as a couple others. I've never seen any indications that that is significantly different from 50/50.
