I am confused as to how this is a story, especially one that Trump people are upset about.

Note: I'm not taking a side, I'm trying to learn. There always seems to be an odd reaction to physical confrontation on here - of course, the inclusion of a woman may make that a lower bar depending on the circumstance, but I'm confused as to the cause perhaps.

I am in utter shock anyone thinks anything happened in that video, and I'm unofficially off the Trump train after last night. This seems like a bad joke.

Also, I don't know what Corey Lewandowski looks like, so I'm not entirely sure what to be looking for in the "damning" video, but I don't really see any pushing, shoving, or grabbing there.

Well it's already established someone did bruise her up, so the question is who, as you said. The video clearly shows Corey quickly moving towards her with his arm/hand out while the agent seems oblivious. Given that there were reports of him admitting he did it, I think it's fair to say that there is far more reason to think Corey did it then anyone else.

In regards to Breitbart - I think it's funny that people are resigning there and that Breitbart in general seems to be backing Trump. They are nothing but a right-wing propaganda firm masquerading as a "news" site, so it's no surprise what is going on with that. The last thing they care about is real news, or accuracy, or integrity. So again, no surprise they threw their people under the bus - And for someone like Trump even.

They chose their line of work. Hard to feel bad for Breitbart employees.

I still do not understand how this is a crime. He squeezed in between her and Trump. I must commit this crime 20 times a day! Despicable on the part of the reporter and the police. This is why I support Trump. Enough with the dramatic 'crime' in America. Seriously. Get rid of our absurd criminal justice system. The police are out of control.

Yes, generally most would consider it quite immoral to take into account a person's criminal record when considering them for a position and that should extend to retaining them for a position. The only exception would be being disbarred from the financial industry or control over money after a fraud conviction.

So you're saying Hillary should be able to keep her job if she's convicted?  Because I know Trump believes she shouldn't keep her job.

I do. I'm becoming a semi-big Hillary fan solely because her detractors are an embarrassment. She did nothing criminal let alone wrong.

Of course I want the beautiful Ms. IVANKA to be the first female President, but if we have to settle, then Hillary's not a bad back-up choice.

Donald needs to press charges against her asap. This goes beyond political feelings. I would feel this way for any candidate.

I'm severely disappointed by the unusually biased comments by the moderators in this thread. If there is any issue I will defend Trump to the death on, it would be this matter because it is utterly silly.

Trump's comments in the town hall are incredible. He should've been a lawyer.

Some posters are really showing their true colors in this thread.

I hope you mean the trolls who are just trying to agitate the rest of us. My liberal roommate cracked up when this was played on the news, which confirms my suspicion that I'm being played by the newbies.

Bruises on forearm. He touched her bicep. Proven innocent beyond any doubt. Don't care if his lawyer is Gary Busey. This is open and shut case.

This is a load of crap.  Good to see Trump stand by Corey in this one.

Shes trying to get 15min of fame and smear/negative press for Trump.   Thats soo iffin petty to file a charge over.

Do people even get why the charge was filed? All she wanted was an apology and instead of that she was called  delusional liar that was never touched and then the Trump campaign tried to assassinate her character. She didn't go on a single national show until Trump's campaign did what they did.

What happened is completely overblown but where we are now is entirely on Trump's campaign for failing to offer a simple apology for grabbing reporter too hard.

Never apologize. Just harass her on Twitter non-stop and destroy her life for destroying the character of a beautiful man with a beautiful family. No one deserves this more than her. She is #1 on my list supplanting Roy Moore.

These conservatives are disgusting.

No Prosecution as any sane person would have expected. Glad that ordeal is over.
