I completely agree at this point. It's possible some of the SoCons can hit him for not being socially conservative enough, but do they ever even win? They (Huck and Santorum) are economic populists anyway so their voters aren't jumping off for the heavy hitters that the Kochs will approve of anytime soon. And if they are forced to jump off, it's probably Walker over Romney or Bush.

Walker's blandness is just what might make him seem like a moderate. No one over here even knows who he is. The recall was not national news like everything Christie does. It'll seem like a passing thing under his watch. Yet, it still is just enough to fire up conservatives (so long as gay marriage doesn't alienate the Olds but it really shouldn't)

I just found out 2.59 GPA at the time of dropout. Not exactly Rick Perry's 2.2 at TAMU with horrible econ marks, but given that he dropped out, a transcript leak is possible.
