If the Assembly and Governor can give me direction as to what they would like me to do, I am more than happy to serve as this commission. Unless you guys intend to actually form a commission and study the issue, in which case I can provide data.

Just let me know.

You might want to mobilize the Northeast National Guard, if you haven't already.  The relevant law gives you that power as Governor.

Article I, Section 7, Clause 7:

Regardless of what Atlasian law says, the Northeast has an Army and Air National Guard - and the Governor has the authority to call them up.

I don't question the right of the Governor to call those forces forward. It just would not be Constitutional at this time.

So sue him if he decides to do so.  If the police are on strike, we're not going to leave the Northeast without some police presence.  Calling on the guard to fill that role isn't asking them to act as armed forces in the traditional sense any more than it is were the Guard called out to help in a flood zone.

EDIT: Totally missed Article VI, Clause 6.

The Practical Labor Policy Redux is presented to your desk for a signature or veto.

Also, I'd like to note, we never did come to a conclusion on those workers. I'd be interested in working with you, Cinyc, and PS for a solution to this.

I would be more than happy. We can do this either over PM or in a separate thread.
