I do not see Gingrich running in 2012. By that time it will have been more than a decade since when he last held public office. If he really wanted to run for president, then he probably would have done so in 2008.

Oh, and Gingrich has just said that he does "not particularly" want to run in 2012 in the first place: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090308/ap_on_el_pr/gingrich2012_1.
