You have taken the Moderate Hero schtick too far, this crosses over the line from Moderate Heroism.

This IS without hindsight, right? I said Bush in 2000 in a similar thread a long time ago as well, I'm pretty sure.

Wouldn't vote for him if given the chance again, of course.

Why would you find him appealing at any point in time?

His compassionate conservatism and "humble foreign policy/no nation building" stuff would have been things that I would have liked, probably.

But at any rate, I've never liked Gore.

Would have been the lesser evil from a 2010 perspective.

The better question is, why is BRTD obsessed with Gore? He hates Gore's running mate for being a "moderate hero" and all (which Gore probably was in 2000 too). I wonder why he would have been so determined to get them elected.
