i guess in a way i hope it was just a story.  because if it wasnt, it means that he was stricken with brain cancer.

however, making up such an illness is pretty low down.  i dont understand why anyone would do that.

ive always thought yates' writing style was very similar to migrendel.

not to mention migrendel cabot lodge lied about a few things too.

not that i think they are the same person, because i dont.

two things baffle me about this situation.

1.  yates was a well respected poster.  no offense, but i dont think any of us would have been shocked if dwtl had pulled a stunt like this.  but when someone like yates does it, it is shocking.

2. he was a member of the board for quite a while before the hoax.  so obviously he didnt join the board for the sole purpose of pulling this hoax.
