well according to the list someone posted, i was born and reared in a 'dry' county.

but im a little confused as to the meaning of the word dry.  the county i was raised in was/is dry according to the list.  while i cannot remember any liquor stores in that county.  i certainly remember the grocery stores selling beer and wine.
