I know Laffey would have an uphill battle in the general but I think too many people are underestimating him.

chafee is going to kick laffey's ass. 

you odnt have a general election to worry about.

laffey is bluffing.

i hear he wants to be president of uri.  he is using this 'challenge' to get the governor to give him the job at uri.

you democrats should support chafee.

in 2002 i was pulling for mary landrieu in the la.  i supported her for two reasons..ok three reasons...1.  she is a good senator 2. she went out of her way to support most of bush's first term agenda.  3.  the witch she was running against was spooky.
