Mr. Morden,

The 'brief relaxation' was a nap, not porn.  And, yes, all but one subscription is cancelled.  I haven't been home to take care of the last one.

how many f'ing subscriptions did you have?

think of all the $$$ that added to your very large credit card debt.

Bushie, lipo isn't for severe obesity.

True, I'm really not considering either, I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.  Unless things get real desperate, which I don't consider it now, then I might think about it.  I'm not sure if gastric bypass is something the Indian Doctors do anyway.  I don't have insurance for civilian medicine.
You'll have it soon. You have to buy it in 2014. But insurance companies generally make you prove you've made a serious effort before they'll pay.

FWIW, I understand the penalty for not having insurance in 2014 is only $98. Obviously it'll increase the next couple years, but it looks like 2014 is more of a "test run" of the mandate, getting it in place and all. The penalty is far too minor to be a major motivator.

A $100 fine, even in my situation, is a much easier pill to swallow than premiums that would probably be $400-$500 a month (I'm just guessing) that I would have to fight tooth and nail for them to pay for anything.

uh.  bushie?  do you understand the point of insurance?

it is someone in your situation that *needs* insurance.  what would happen if you had to spend just one night in the hospital?  granny's bank account would take a big hit.

No, it only goes back about a year due to space, and I haven't preached on a Sunday morning in over a year.  Our Music Minister, Don, has preached a couple times and his messages are on there.

What's even more amazing is that you let just anyone preach! You don't have to be ordained or anything? Or have any education?

dukie they dont believe in such things as education.  they only advocate reading one book: the bible.

In the Southern Baptist Convention, you have to be licensed in order to preach or perform weddings.  You don't have to have any seminary education, although that never hurts, you have to have a confirmed calling to preach the Gospel and have to be licensed by the local body.  Each church in the Southern Baptist Convention is autonomous, which means each church elects their own leaders.  Since we're a small church, the only person ordained is our deacon.  Our Lead Pastor, Music Minister, and myself are all licensed which is one step away from Ordination.  Outside our local church, a license allows me to conduct weddings inside the State of Oklahoma.  I have to be ordained to conduct weddings outside the State of Oklahoma.  We register our licenses with the County Clerk and the County Courthouse.  Our deacon's ordination is on a different level than if my pastor would be ordained.  The deacon's ordination is contingent upon the local body.  If he were to change churches, he would have to be re-ordained in order to serve as deacon.  My Pastor, if he were ordained, could go to any other Southern Baptist Church in the nation and hold the same ordination.  In a bigger church, in order to be licensed or ordained, one has to 1) be called to preach, 2) be heard by the Pastor Search Committee, Deacons, and other ordained officers, 3) be recommended by the same groups to the congregation, 4) Preach before the congregation, and 5) be voted in by the congregation in a special business meeting in an up or down vote.

so, to sum up...they will let anyone preach?

bushie every day it is some sensational goal for you.  stick to one goal at a time!

what about taking a walk every day to lose weight?  that sounds like a reasonable goal.

you live in a state of delusion.  i say that not to be mean...but to encourage you (again) to seek professional mental health care.  it was the best decision i ever made.

And don't you think that you should apologize to your parents and confess that you were stealing from them?

They already know.

When did you tell them?

A few days ago.

What day?  And they were just cool with you keeping the PB subscription until Monday?

What exactly did you say?  What did they say?

It was Friday evening.  They knew I was working on it and they knew I was struggling with it.  They said as long as I cancelled it Monday with no more money involved, they were fine.

I told them I was struggling with pornography and that I had taken out a few subscriptions, but that I had cancelled most of them and was waiting until I could get some privacy before I cancelled the last one.  They agreed to that.  They were disappointed, naturally, but they understand that I am a guy and I'm going to struggle with that.  They just told me to cancel the Playboy on Monday, and not to take out any more subscriptions.  If I need a diversion, they told me to come to them and we'll go out to eat or go shopping or something.  They weren't hostile about it, though.

you should apply for work at burger king, you are excellent at creating whoppers!

Right but which one of his ancestors was it?

Plus, if this is God's Will, there is nobody that can stop it, not even the Peace Corps themselves.  If it is not His Will, there is nobody that can make it happen, not even the Peace Corps or myself.

History and Political Science are real academic fields (I have no idea what a "philanthropy" degree is...). They're not at all comparable to a degree in ecommerce.

Still, E-Commerce was a legitimate degree offered by a legitimate university, and it took 6 years of hard work to get it!

And the football players who major in Communications work hard for their degrees (I watched a kid struggle and still fail Introductions to Interpretive Reading), but it doesn't mean they have a real degree.  Sure, they have a piece of paper that says "Bachelor of Arts", but it really doesn't mean anything.

just like your hero chuck hagel attended the brown institute for radio and television!

If its not storming or no threat of storms, I will walk.  I keep my family and friends on facebook advised of severe weather threats, so their safety will be my top concern.

Looks like he's made one good decision over the past few years. Unless he has a desire to hear about how awesome Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed are or has a fondness for sandwich wraps.

i feel the need to spread the word about reed and whitehouse.  both are very underrated.

Oklahoma has some really good meteorologists; in terms of best TV meteorologists, James Spann is definitely up there too.

Spann is a climate chane denier.

That doesn't have any impact on how good of a meteorologist he is.

He denies fact.  That isnt a sign of a good scientist.
