He’s right.

And Tlaib and Omar need to be expelled from Congress, or at the very least have their committee assignments stripped.

Wow, I agree with THG for once.

Anyway, I think Israel does do some (a lot) bad things. Only insane people deny that. There is a humanitarian crisis, mostly of its own making, in the West Bank.

But allowing a terrorist group to bomb civilians is despicable. Israel isn't going to back down from nearly a century of bad blood and just walk away (which won't actually stop the missiles) and Tlaib knows this.

This is a defensive weapon. And Hamas is a terrorist group guilty of such acts like suicide bombing Israeli schools.

Anyway, Ilhan Omar lost her place as the most anti-Semitic member of congress.

Tlaib should be expelled. Along with Omar, MTG, and Matt Gaetz.

I get why you don't like Tlaib, but she's not really anti-Semitic; she was saying that the government needs to address Israel's humans rights abuses (and there are human rights abuses; she cited enough sources) before blindly supporting them. Yes, her rhetoric could have been toned down, but honestly, the charges of anti-Semitism are exaggerated. I don't see how she's anti-Semitic or why she should be expelled.

Same goes for Omar, although I do know she made an anti-Jewish statement once by implying they love money ("it's all about the Benjamins") and made a controversial tweet in 2012. So it might make sense to distrust Omar.

But why should the two Muslim women in Congress both be expelled, considering one of them (Tlaib) hasn't done anything more 'anti-Semitic' than opposing blind support to Israel? Not saying that you're Islamaphobic or anything, by the way, I'm just confused why so many people think Omar and Tlaib are anti-Semetic. That being said, I disagree with Tlaib on a lot of other issues, such as her wanting to abolish the police. And Omar is an extremist as well.

(I agree that MTG and Gaetz should be expelled, however, for obvious reasons.)

Not because of her views on Israel, but because her beliefs are literally insane. Also she and Omar planned to visit Israel on the dollar of an organization that supports suicide bombers killing Israeli children.

If having literally insane beliefs is a prerequisite for expulsion, you might as well remove 80% of the Republican caucus, they're still acting like Trump won which is a literally insane and anti math point of view.

Horus is right; 139 House Republicans at least publicly believe that the election was stolen from Trump and should be expelled before Tlaib and Omar are. Not saying they aren't extremists, but whatever arguably anti-Semitic thing they did, isn't as bad as trying to end America's democracy. The fact is that a lot of Republicans are closeted anti-Semites themselves, and they occasionally let it slip. For just one example, Mary Miller (R-IL) literally quoted Adolf Hitler, and many others compare anything and everything they dislike to the Holocaust. Too many examples to list. It's unfair to single out Tlaib and Omar just because there are too many Republicans to count. It's all right to say they should be expelled, perhaps, BUT then do your research and make sure you include every single member of Congress (including a large percentage of the GOP) who has been in any way anti-Semetic at some point faces the same consequences.

At this point we should just expel everyone and start over.
