As sick as homosexuality may be most people don't have a problem with a gay person when in pubic. At least not like blacks received or still currently receives in this country.

Theres a lot of DL gays to so that might explain the poll.

Depending on what part of the country you live its possible to not know any openly gay people/ flamers.   But keep in mind there's a lot of bisexual men and you probably wouldn't know it by being around them.

I think he thinks that "openly gay men" are people you can identify as being gay within three seconds of them talking or less.

I don't know about you but i can tell within a realistic 5 mins or just by observation.

Actually, gaydar has been held up with statistically significant results, but the effect isn't very strong; people are only slightly more likely than chance to be correct in their hunches (so if the experiment is structured so that the pictures people are looking at are 50-50 straight-gay they might get perhaps 57% right).  The effect does not seem to be contingent on how long someone looks at the pictures, so people can tell at a glance.

I'm pretty good at it.

Bisexuals are imposable to detect because most of them are "str8 acting" in public settings.

I consider my gaydar rather good, and though I know Mike is an idiot and all, there have been studies that I've seen that show you can sort of tell if a guy is gay or not by their voice. (Not 100% of the time, obviously, but more often than not.)

I know Marokai is a glorified troll.

He took the cheap shot at me like you and other moderators allow. Then when I dish it  back you want to call the foul.
