Look what happened to the crime rates in areas where the evacuees went after Katrina.

It raises questions when thousands of Democrats who voted for Kerry over Bush decided to vote for McCain over Obama, or not at all. They certainly didn't vote for Kerry because of his relative conservatism.

Some of it is probably racism, but not all.  McCain is a war hero and doesn't have a pro-big business image like W has, so I imagine he would appeal to a lot of blue dog Democrats regardless of which left-winger was running against him.

This one didn't.  Real blue dogs voted for Obama.

It probably was mostly racism, which nobody should be shocked about.
