I've never missed an election. General or primary and I've been at it along time now.

Straight Democrat minus making the error of voting for Republican for state Senator in my second or third election.
Great guy who actually had the better position than the Democrat.
He then went on the vote with his caucus like 90% of the time including against his own policies.

It was a valuable and occasional painful lesson.

I have a relatively high percentage of right in votes especially for "nonpolitical" offices.
I've voted for myself more than anyone probably should.
I just don't cotton to unopposed races, especially conservatives.

While I strategically and philosophically vote for the left most person that has a puncher's chance I am not so ideological that I do not weight temperament and intellectual curiosity heavily as I can suss out especially in the executive but always.
