I wonder how many GOP senators secretly want a Trump conviction so he's not a primary threat in 2024.

Impeachment doesn't make you ineligible to run for a second term.
Congress can, and presumably would, do just that when impeaching an official.

Many left-wing twitter users are saying it's the real face of America.
They consider it as the worst country ever in the history of mankind.
Their solution is f America to be dismantled, forgotten, erased forever.

Some leftifts’ hatred for the country is distressing

This is a perfect encapsulation of the threat this country is facing. It is coming from both the left and the right and I hope reasonable people on both sides (like 80% of us) will recognize that. Let's crack down on all these freaks and end this sad episode of American history.
When rose twitter invades the Capitol to install Tulsi Gabbard, this both sides stuff will be apt.

She also said: I will not be taking the coronavirus vaccine in order to return to in-person learning

Good news, that's not going to be a problem for you anymore

How does a Navy Seal trained on disinformation warfare fall for this?

From Navy SEAL to Part of the Angry Mob Outside the Capitol
The presence in Washington of a longtime member of the Navy SEALs who was trained to identify misinformation reflects the partisan politics that helped lead to the assault.

A Navy SEAL falling into this rabbit hole is less surprising than a regular sailor, given their reputation for right wing idiocy and other unprofessional nonsense.
Let’s see, Eric Grietens, Dan Crenshaw, and Eric Prince. Yeah let’s shut that thing down until we figure out what’s going on.

No charges have been recommended for the cop who shot the lady whose name I’m not gonna say.

Good. They were trespassing and warned. He did his job.

Really amazing how Jan 6 just erased an entire summer of advocacy for Black Lives Matter views on use of force by police.
Do you seriously not see the difference between a woman at the head of a lynch mob attempting to break through the last barricade between themselves and their targets and a mentally ill man who bounced a check or a guy selling loose cigarettes or a teenager stealing cigars or a 13 year old playing with a toy gun?

Two men have been arrested in WV and PA for their involvement in the riots and possibly causing the death of Officer Sicknick.

https://wchstv.com/news/local/records-sandwich-university-photo-helps-identify-man-charged-with-assaulting-officer

One of the men was identified because he wore clothing with the logo of his business, Sandwich University, home of the Fat Sandwich, and a former business partner identifying him who is also suing Mr. Fat Sandwich for embezzling $435,000 from a prior business venture.

While many noted that many of the rioters seem to come from affluent backgrounds or seemed to have lots of free time to jet around, the WaPo did a study of those arrested and found that the biggest common denominator (aside from being white) is that they're really crappy with money, with bankruptcies and tax liens galore.  Quite fitting.

That actually fits the petite bourgeois line, building up histories of tax liens and bankruptcies are more a thing that crappy businessmen than struggling workers build up
