There are always upsets, but doesn’t it seem like this season is more chaotic than usual?

Yes, olawakandi was the only person to pick the Lions and the only person to pick the Saints.

OTOH, he was also the only person to pick the Panthers and one of two to pick the Ravens.

Titans
Packers
Colts
Cardinals

Bengals
Rams
Bills
Jags
Eagles
Buccs
Chargers
Seahawks
Chiefs
Raiders
Cowboys
Saints

That would be tricky, as those two teams are in fact playing each other. Wink

(You've also left out the Lions-Falcons game.)

The Lions are tied with Falcons how embarrassing for Georgia Moderate

On the contrary, I have no problem admitting the Falcons are a bad team.  I'm surprised their record is as good as it is. Smiley

If this version of the Cowboys shows up in the playoffs lookout.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they won’t get to play WFT in the playoffs. Wink

In case anyone is wondering, the record for points scored by an NFL team is 73. The Bears won the 1940 championship game 73-0 against the (you guessed it) Redskins.

I wonder if any other sports league in the world has the record for biggest blowout in ... a championship game

I read a great anecdote about that game. The Bears went up 7-0 and when the Redskins got the ball, their QB (the great Sammy Baugh) threw a long pass right on target to a wide open receiver behind the defense. It was a sure TD, but slipped through the receiver’s fingers. The Redskins had to punt, and the rout was on.

After the game, a reporter asked Baugh if it would have made a difference in the outcome if the receiver had held on and tied it at 7-7, making a game of it.  “Sure would have,” replied Baugh. “We’d have lost 73-7.”

I'll assume that's Titans.  It also makes me realize how glad I am that Badger doesn't play this game. Wink

Madden was the winningest NFL coach in history by percentage, slightly ahead of Vince Lombardi.

Nope, just Sunday and Monday night games.  And next week (the final week of the regular season) it's all Sunday games.

And next week (the final week of the regular season) it's all Sunday games.

I believe there actually will be two Saturday games in Week 18.  It's just that the NFL hasn't yet announced which games those will be.  Two currently scheduled Sunday afternoon games will be moved to Saturday, while a third will move to Sunday night:

https://www.nfl.com/schedules/2021/reg18/

Thanks for clarifying that.  ESPN's schedule (which is what I use to post the weekly schedule) probably won't be updated until the Saturday games are chosen.

I'm switching my pick from the Ravens to the Rams due to Lamar Jackson being ruled out.

You've got Seahawks in there twice, and no pick for Monday night.

The Patriots' 50-10 victory over the Jaguars was only the second occurrence of that final score in NFL history.  The Jags also lost the first one, against the Vikings in 1998.
