Perhaps a bit of a sensationalist headline, but it's still a bit concerning that people in the administration don't seem to be on the same page. 

There is virtually no chance that the Secretary of Defense would not have been aware of intelligence that was provided to the President.  This just confirms that Trump was making it up.

These numbers are ugly for a President... usually, the public gives the commander in chief the benefit of the doubt when it comes to military decisions.

Usually the American president isn't a bumbling criminal lying idiot.
Usually, they're just lying criminals.

Trump compensates for his lack of intelligence and competence by doubling down on the lying and criminal behavior.
