I've liked all of them, but Smith IMO perfectly captured a sense of the Doctor as an alien trying hard to fit in with humans...but not quite succeeding.  Tom Baker was the master of that.

I also think Smith's first season, with the Crack in Time arc, was the best in modern Who as a cohesive full season.  But Tennant's run from Human Nature through Last of the Time Lords was the strongest run of episodes.
