It was somewhat unlikely that the Warriors were going to accept the invitation anyway.

Also worth noting that Tom Brady and several other of the New England Patriots passed on their visit to the Trump White House.  Trump didn't put down Brady for it.  I wonder what the difference between Curry and Brady is...
