Trump has absolutely no comprehension of the concept of conflict of interest.

Sure he does, but it's not the one most people use.  For Trump, something is either in his interest or else it's a conflict.

Several sources reporting that Trump is considering replacing Sessions with Giuliani. The original source reporting this appears to be Axios, whatever that is, citing White House officials so take with the appropriate measure of salt. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/343426-trump-floats-possibility-of-giuliani-replacing-sessions-as-attorney

If he fires Sessions, it will be a mistake at least as bad as firing Comey. That this isn't obvious to Trump just confirms how disconnected from reality he is.

Tbh, I'm pretty skeptical that Giuliani would even be confirmed.

I agree.  But even if confirmed, wouldn't he need to recuse from the Russia investigation as well, since he worked on Trump's campaign?
