Even if he doesn't successfully challenge the sore loser law, Blankenship has the money for a well-funded write-in campaign, and that should be enough to pull at least a few percent.  If he actually takes steps in that direction, I'll move this from Lean D to Likely D.

How would you rate the race if Blankenship has a high publicity third party campaign and successfully gets on the ballot under the Constitution party?
I would say Likely D.

Agreed.

How long do we think it will take for mainstream punditry to move this race to Likely D? The resistance is fascinating to me.

In West Virginia?  Never.

Potus (piece of trash underneath sh!t) Trump has landed in WV. If he screws with Manchin Imma be even more infuriated than I am now. But with all the distractions going on today it should keep him busy enough to slam Manchin less than otherwise so that’s at least good.
Apparently he's getting the crowd to chant "JOE'S GOTTA GO!"

Yeah, this is one of the only races where I am very scared about Trump throwing his weight around in.

Manchin's going to be in office longer than Trump is.

Wait, where!?

If he means the ones that were added to the 538 poll database yesterday, they're old: SurveyMonkey from June 11 - July 2.  538 has been adding old polls in batches, which can cause unnecessary jumps in the heart rate until you check the dates. Wink
