Note, that they poll All Adults. In latest ABC poll there is a 5-6% difference towards Trump between Adults and RV. That means that Hillary would likely be more disliked than Trump among RV in Gallup Smiley

This may or may not be true.  Mixing data from different polls is not a sound practice.

Somewhat surprisingly considering the latest polls, Clinton has opened up her biggest lead in quite a while in Gallup favorability numbers.  Sample period is 9/19-25:

Clinton 41/55 (-14)
Trump 32/63 (-31)

Clinton has been slowly gaining and Trump slowly declining over the last several days.

Current sample (Sep 27-Oct 3) is:

Trump 33/63 (-30)
Clinton 42/54 (-12)

The oldest sample on their page (Sep 3-10) is Trump 35/5060 (-25), Clinton 38/57 (-19).  The net change since then is Trump -5, Clinton +7.

Gallup was pretty bad in 2012 and I assume they're pretty bad this year.

BUT MUH DATA POINTS

Right, Trump will win anyways, notwithstanding polling results.

These are just favorability numbers.  Gallup doesn't poll the Presidential race anymore.

The current sample (Oct 2-9) has:

Trump 32/64 (-32)
Clinton 42/53 (-11, which is the highest she's been in quite a while)

More interesting is the Trump numbers among Republicans over the last week or so.  There's been a drop in the last two samples, which are the first to include post-tape days:

Oct 2-9, 2016   64   34
Oct 1-8, 2016   66   32
Sept 30-Oct 7, 2016   67   31
Sept 29-Oct 6, 2016   67   31
Sept 28-Oct 4, 2016   66   31
Sept 27-Oct 3, 2016   69   28
Sept 26-Oct 2, 2016   70   28
Sept 25-Oct 1, 2016   72   26
Sept 24-30, 2016   72   26

For comparison, here are Clinton's numbers among Democrats in the same time period:

Oct 2-9, 2016   78   20
Oct 1-8, 2016   77   20
Sept 30-Oct 7, 2016   77   20
Sept 29-Oct 6, 2016   76   21
Sept 28-Oct 4, 2016   76   21
Sept 27-Oct 3, 2016   76   21
Sept 26-Oct 2, 2016   76   21
Sept 25-Oct 1, 2016   76   21
Sept 24-30, 2016   76   21

The latest sample (Oct. 7-13) has Trump at 31/65 (-34), which I believe is a new low for him.  Clinton is at 41/55 (-14), which is in the middle of the narrow range she's been in for the last three weeks or so.
