And you say this because you have a quiz of your own, or because you actually have some substance behind your opinion? I honestly want some insight from fellow political experts on how to go about improving this quiz. Thanks.

Many reasons, but the most glaring is you try to pigeonhole everything under the 2 party system. That someone like Libertas is a 'Democrat' under this should tell you something.

Retook, since it's been awhile (old result posted earlier). Seems somewhat accurate actually.

The Falsifier
You scored 92% individualism, 52% fatalism, 60% hierarchy, and 36% egalitarianism!
Congratulations, you are helping to disprove Cultural Theory! Cultural Theory argues that each person will adhere to one, or possibly two, of the basic cultures. The other viewpoints will sound insane or incoherent. Because you agree with three of the cultures, you don't fit Cultural Theory's predictions. Take that, Mary Douglas!

Related results:

The Egoist
You adhere to both the Individualist and Fatalist cultures. You are suspicious of anyone who asks you to sacrifice for the good of society. "Look out for number one" is your motto.

The Feudalist
You adhere to the cultures of Fatalism and Hierarchy. These two viewpoints share a commitment to strong rules regulating what people can and can't do in society. You may not like the rules, but the alternative would be chaos.

The Individualist or Collectivist? Test

Collectivist!
You scored 70 on individualism!
If you're in this category, it means you are a collectivist! You tend to value your group's sucesses more than your own. You tend to be modest, and don't often contrue events in ways that are self boosting. You tend to see situations are more important than the actors within them. Your self-esteem may be lower than most other North americans. But people probabaly really like you, you're modest and tend to be considerate of others.

Your Analysis (Vertical line = Average)

You scored 70% on individualism, higher than 24% of your peers.

Your Ideology Selector Results:
''My #1'' equals your best match. Default order is alphabetical, Mithridates determined the order.
URL: http://selectsmart.com/FREE/select.php?client=zeron
Link: Ideology Selector
My #1 is:   Libertarian    Books, etc.
My #2 is:   Paleo-libertarian    Books, etc.
My #3 is:   Paleoconservative    Books, etc.
My #4 is:   Radical    Books, etc.
My #5 is:   Left-libertarian    Books, etc.
My #6 is:   Conservative    Books, etc.
My #7 is:   Neoconservative    Books, etc.
My #8 is:   Centrist    Books, etc.
My #9 is:   Liberal    Books, etc.
My #10 is:   Third Way    Books, etc.

Libertarian Underground (weird test):

Your Results

Total Inefficiency: 38.1%

What it means: A high inefficiency score indicates that you favor policies that make people more unhappy than they could be otherwise.

Your score breaks down as follows:

Authoritarian: 50%
What it means: A high score under authoritarian indicates that you advocate policies that inefficiently restrict the rights
of individual people, placing these rights under government control instead. You believe that in many cases the government knows
better than individuals what is good for them.

Anarchic: 20%
What it means: A high score under anarchic indicates that you are probably a stereotypical extremist libertarian. You
believe that people ought to be inefficiently within their rights to perform certain actions, even if those actions make others worse
off without compensation. You have arbitrarily selected certain behaviors as unquestionable natural rights and the impact they have
on people who disagree is of no consequence.

Your position on the chart is shown as a blue dot. The lower left corner indicates the highest efficiency. The arcs indicate
progressively worse efficiency with the upper right corner being the most inefficient possible based on the questions asked.

3 Variable Quiz

Mainstream American
77% Liberal, 80% Capitalist, 58% Radical
You scored in the upper half of the Liberal Category. You prefer individualism over community rights although I'm not sure how much due to scoring category restraints. At the very minimum, you could be mainstream American and at the very maximum you could lean libertarian-esque or even towards Anarchism. You scored above 50 percent in the Capitalism rating. I have no way of knowing how high you scored, but at the very minimum you believe in fairly free movement of capital, and if you get very high you may believe in trickle down economics is the savior of any and all economics. You scored in the Republican area of the radical line. You probably hate racism but don't necessarily believe in Affirmative Action. Equality, but not at all costs may be applicable. You're a Mainstream Democrat. You believe in civil rights, legal equality and are a Capitalist. Not much to say.

That was after marking down typical 'conservative' responses to healthcare, social security, and taxes among other things. Pretty funny.

The combination of my results was scary far out there.  I was clueless.  And remembering my reasoning makes it even more embarrassing.  Especially socially.

I'm not sure about 'scary,' bizarre was what came to mind.
