I have no intention to amend the labor relations law at this point. I respect the clear will of the people. However, I think there is room for middle ground on the issue of abortion. A narrow majority of the Mideastern electorate wanted to change the current abortion statute, but I'm not sure if all of the people who voted AYE fully supported the initiative. That's why I think a compromise between both positions can be found.

I'm quite certain that some of the people who voted aye also wanted a stronger liberalisation.

Plans have been made to call for a new constitutional convention with the goal to rewrite the basic document of Atlasian democracy. During the recent days and weeks it has become evident that there are a number of Atlasians who seek "radical reform" and the abolition of the regional governments.

Speaking as someone who signed the petition, I'm not actually sure whether I favour the abolition of regional governments or whatever.
I do think, however, that The People need to be able to decide the shape of their government and that it is high time we had a proper discussion about this, and that is why I support a new Convention.
