Probably deemed too old unless Biden is planning a one-term presidency.
Yeah I still don't really get that angle. What's the point of voting in a President to serve a single term?
Also while, yes, Lee is old, she's pretty great, ticks all the boxes, too.

Rice has no electoral experience, that part is important. Getting hired or fired by the voters
And for that reason Biden will 100% pick Rice.

Too aggressive?! T O O A G G R E S S I V E ? !

That's EXACTLY what you want when dealing with McConnell being a stinky little turd. We're not playing by Sorkin Rules anymore.

Stupid question but why exactly does Biden need a younger VP? Is he just trying to shore up the age bracket?

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/29/us/politics/kamala-harris-2020.html

This isn't on the candidate? I am sorry but at this level of government you need the leadership skills and if you lack them as Kamala did, it's no ones fault but her own. She made the hiring decisions, she had the right to overrule her advisors on her message and strategy and didn't.

If you think the Biden vetting team won't be thinking about this, you're out of your mind.

You have a weird obsession with her.

That seems like an unfair characterization.  She is a leading candidate to be VP, after all.
This is also quite literally a thread to do with possible VP selections. Keeping track of vetting is what this thread is supposed to be about. This dude is reaching.

Being real for a sec?
I cannot, CANNOT, understand how the agreement of the Dems has become "okay so if Biden gets in he'll serve a term then resign and allow his vp to run for their own term"
Like, wtf just vote in the VP instead? Why are there all these extra steps?!
