Higher education should obviously be tuition free for all, but this is nonetheless a great step in the right direction. Shapiro has been a very solid governor so far.

Why should stupid, violent people be given free college education at the expense of taxpayers?
The percentage of violent people on a college campus is extremely low and if they've turned their life around and paid their debt to society, who cares. If you're arguing this from a tough on crime perspective, you're far more likely to run into an ex-con at a grocery store than on a college campus. There are better arguments against free college than this.
