Social democrat (far-left in the US, closest thing there is to a true centrist in actuality).

Before anyone reads the username and thinks they've got it, I'm not an anarchist.

Democratic EcoSocialist who is center-right socially.

Trumpist but with a better description he's quite possibly the closest Atlas user to Trump ideologically.

Populist, isolationist, protectionist. America First + MAGA. Broadly speaking, economically liberal and socially conservative.

His fault is that he all-too-often compromises his liberal economic positions in supporting GOPers who will only give the rich tax breaks once in office. I'd love for him to recognise that the GOP is the party of the 1% and of the multibillionaire, and that the party for the working-class, culture wars aside, is the Democrats, hands down (they're the ones for a higher minimum wage, healthcare for more people - the GOP wants to get rid of Obamacare! - for unions, for higher taxes on the ultra-rich).
The biggest problem is that I'm in a similar place as Joe Manchin politically and with his brand of centrism on the way out that is likely to be to make me look conservative when he retires or gets defeated. I was talking to OSR about this a bit ago because I do have some areas of agreement with Dems as you pointed out and I think my more conservative slant could be because of my geographical location. It’s possible that had I grown up in a red state I might be more open to supporting Dems at times and I’ll still support the right candidate but I’ve gotten into more disagreements with libs than cons over policy which is one of the reasons I’ve  significantly toned down discussing politics outside this forum.
