No, this is unlikely to happen. Granted unionized voters aren't as solidly Democratic as they once were, this misses three things:
1. Unionized workers =/= union leadership
2. Unionized workers are still more likely to vote D than the general population. I don't know if there is data on 2020, but for all the talk about Trump's blue-collar vote in 2016, exit polling shows Hillary actually won the vote of unionized workers pretty decisively
3. Unionized workers in today's America aren't predominantly hard hats and factory workers. These areas have actually seen significant reductions in unionization rates in recent decades, which tracks nicely with these types of voters moving away from the Democratic Party. Healthcare workers, teachers, government workers make up a larger share of union workers, and you don't need me to tell you which party those occupations prefer.
Union leadership will back whichever party will support their interests more. #Populist rhetoric is one thing, but when you're the party of right-to-work laws and generally less interested in things like workplace regulations, union leaders will see no benefit in endorsing you.
Union workers, like I said are diverse and still more likely to vote D, as they did in the 2016 election, which was between the Democratic candidate that appealed least to the working class, and the Republican who appealed the most to the working class, in modern American history.
