I tried to play this game once and it was too smart for me. I couldn't figure it out. I can't play anything that was made after 2003 or so.

I have played a lot of Medieval II: Total War. I can't remember if I ever made it as far as the British Isles when playing as a Muslim or Orthodox nation, but if I did then I definitely would've converted Ireland away from Catholicism. I usually played as one of the Catholic nations, though, so usually my concern was making it as Catholic as possible because I think it starts the game out as heavily pagan.
