As the leader, Trump bears more responsibility for the spread of the virus at these rallies, but honestly if someone is stupid enough to pretend the virus doesn't exist then at this point that's their own problem.

It goes a little farther than that, I think. The loss of individual supporters nationwide is a calculated sacrifice in order to get a portion of the electorate to believe that life is back to normal.
