Gimme The Loot - Biggie (Original Version)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzvL4O3uomg&feature=related

The culmination and pinnacle of Gangsta Rap. Unreal lyrics.

A vital part of my gym playlist.  He is relentless on this song.

The eurotrash hit that Swizz sampled for that song is actually much better.

J.U.S.T.I.C.E. -- "Dance"

It's difficult to hear, but trust me, that's what Swizz turned into "On To the Next One".  I love it.  Tongue

My President (Remix)- Jay-Z

Classic lyrics, apparently designed to piss off conservatives intentionally:

My President is black- in fact, he's half-white
So even in a racist mind, he's half-right
If you have a racist mind, you be a'ight
My President is black, but his house is all White!

lol

"No more white lies, my President is black."

Lil Wayne -- "Scarface"

Mobb Deep feat. Nas -- "Life Is Mine"

Rick Ross -- "Push It"

I'm sure there are plenty of other hip-hop songs that have sampled the Scarface soundtrack (I'm assuming you were referring to the Al Pacino version, and not the original, Tongue).  I need to go back to Miami.  Rumor has it I may be heading down at the end of March. Grin

Yup.

Nice.   Haven't been down there, but have heard its absolutely amazing.

Some mixture of my friends has been going for the best four years or so.  I went in 2008.  We don't do the house parties, though.  We go to the hip-hop parties that the New York promoters throw.  Daytime is different though because the pool parties are where you need to be, and they always have house DJs.  Well, there was a Sunday afternoon hip-hop party at the The Shelborne (which is rare) when I went, and got to see Common perform live.

I'm not definitely going yet, though.  I'd say I'm at about 60%.  Tongue

Imagining Tmth singing along to "Right Round" is my amusing image for the day.
Oh, trust me, I have more swagga` than you could handle!

I think Paul and I need to get you into real rap, 90's NY style
I'm going to have to concur. Except the West Coast is the best coast.

Why not both?

Notorious B.I.G. -- "Real Niggaz Do Real Things"

...and killed in The Bronx, for good measure...
