Where in Staten Island are you from?  I'm guessing Willowbrook.

I wouldn't mind agreeing with you there. Except the trannies.
That makes the people watching that much better though!

I'm not sure I'd say South Beach is THE best place in the world, but it's definitely high on the list.
If you go South Beach, be sure to visit the Delano Hotel. That is all I will say. Smiley
I've been in there. And you, my good man, are on to something.

Definitely.  I looked at their website and it looked familiar.  Last time I was there I walked by behind it and remember being impressed.  The inside looks even more awesome.  I'll have to actually go in next time (which is hopefully sooner rather than later).

If you are lucky, you will see some Hollywood extra nubile lithesome female number 10 ranked draped on a coach in the foyer for your pleasure, who fits in with the art deco decor, which is what all the staff also fit into in their whites. And that is just the lagniappe. Smiley   Ah, I am getting excited just revisiting the memories, and that is good - in fact excellent.

That part of Collins Ave. is gorgeous.  The Delano, The Shore Club, The Fountainbleau, The National, The Shelborne, The Setai (probably the ritziest in Miami)...all beautiful hotels.  It's like out of a classic movie.  A little too rich for my blood though.  I've only stayed at The Clevelander, Hotel Shelly (a nice little hotel further down Collins, closer to 8th), and most recently, The Loews.  Next time I go to Miami, I'm dead set on staying in one of the aforementioned.  When?  We'll see.  Tongue

I forgot to mention the Orange Bowl. Before they tore it down to make room for the Marlins' fail emporium.

What's with the royal blue seats?  It's equally as frustrating as the green seats in Citi Field.  Unless the Marlins are planning a color change.

How are things in Staten Italy?  Haven't been there in a while.

Same sh**t, different toilet.  Smiley
