For anyone who cares, Menino and Flaherty are the ones who advance to the general.

Menino narrowly won a majority of the vote in the final tally:

Menino 41026 50.52%
Flaherty 19459 23.96%
Yoon 17179 21.16%
McCrea 3340 4.11%

Does anybody run on the Republican line?  Republicans in New York get a candidate...and sometimes he wins! Cheesy

No, it's a non-partisan race.

Reminds me of The Wire (the TV show in my sig), where one story arc follows the mayoral race in Baltimore.  The Democratic primary was treated as "Election Day", while the actual election day was a mere formality.
