Imagine if Amy Klobuchar was nominated for VP and Al Franken was appointed the senator!
I hate how we had to get rid of Franken because of the MeToo nonsense

Wow, looks like Klobuchar, Gabbard, and Duckworth are the only good options left. Hopefully Joe sees the light.

Gabbard adds nothing.

Gabbard is so bad her selection would case major damage to Biden's chances of winning.  She is now a persona non grata in the Democratic Party, including her home state.  There would be a political firestorm and possibly even a convention walkout.  Biden is smarter than that.

So centrist Dems with TDS are gonna abandon Biden if he picks a running mate that those centrist Dems smeared with bogus accusations?

No "centrist Dems" forced Gabbard to vote "present" on impeachment or say that "both sides" were to blame for the government shutdown.
She voted present to protest the partisanship of the impeachment. It was obviously gonna pass in the house because of the Democrat majority, so her vote wasn’t needed

Kamala voted against cutting military spending by 10%. Can someone please remind me why so many people want her as VP?

Because cutting military spending is bad.
We spend more than the next top 10 countries combined... Why do we need to spend so much?

We spend more than the next top 10 countries combined... Why do we need to spend so much?

Our military investments pay off in more ways than war-making capacity (r&d, social progress, etc.), but even if we limit ourselves to just investments in fighting capacity, well...someone has to stand as a deterrent to Russia, China, and other aggressive, semi-fascist states.
Even if we cut spending by 10%, our military is still much larger than China’s. Why not invest some of that money at home instead of wasting it on the military just to bully and intimidate other countries?

So do we think this is a "let Warren supporters down easy while getting money out of them one last time before they get annoyed" fundraiser OR a "preview of what's to come" fundraiser? Because with that July 31st timing, it's surely set up to be one or the other.

Probably the former

That’s so slimy. Might honestly make me consider sitting this election out

Qualified, somewhat charismatic, young, attractive, progressive, has appeal with suburban women and social liberals who may not be so enthused about a Biden candidacy. It's really not that hard. I'm not saying she's the best option, but its not realistic to just flat out refuse to acknowledge her strengths along with her weaknesses.
People still think Kamala is a progressive? What kind of a progressive votes against cutting military funding by 10%? It’s very obvious that she only pretends like she’s progressive to get more support. Her only appeal is that she’s a young black woman.

Nice, one less vote for Trump.
Huh I’m planning on voting for Biden in Georgia. I’m saying if he does something as slimy as fooling Warren supporters into thinking that she will become VP just to get money from them, then that would make me consider staying home. If Biden does that, it would be an objectively sh**tty thing to do. I can’t stand the Biden supporters who feel obligated to act like Biden can do no wrong. You’re acting just like Trumpsters

He’s not “fooling” anyone. They’re literally just having a fundraiser, which many Democrats have done for Biden because they want him to win. If you think Warren fundraising for Biden means she’ll be his VP, you’re the fool.
I’m just going off of what people said on the thread earlier

What does Kamala even add to the ticket? Maybe some slightly increased turnout in California? A half-black woman from California isn’t gonna increase turnout amongst southern and Rust Belt blacks as much as some people here act like it would (which is kinda patronizing and racist tbh). Biden already appeals enough to moderates, and progressives aren’t big fans of Kamala. She isn’t even a good debater. If Biden wants to increase turnout amongst blacks in some swing states, then Bottoms would be a much more logical choice since Georgia is a toss up state.

Go back 15-30 pages and start reading. This has been litigated to death.
Can you just give me some of the highlights
