Publicwhip Website

I've referenced this website before, especially during the terrorism debates, and I've got to say that having pocked around with it a lot recently, I'm having quite a bit of fun.

Basically, you can vote in all the divisions during a Parliament, and the system will calculate which sitting MPs are voting closest to you. Unfortunately,l the descriptions for what a vote is really about are not included for all divisions, so mostly its the publicised votes that get good descriptions. I've already entered votes for a number of divisions this term, though since most of the votes I've registered are on the terrorism issue, it will probably be a while before a reasonable correlation of me to the RL MPs builds up.

You can see me here; I'm presently closest to a pretty strange mix of characters (David Laws and Clare Short for example)
