Why do you think Gillibrand is the best candidate?
She's supremely qualified and understands the needs of both rural and urban America and is a great representative of a highly intelligent woman and New Yorker. There may be 2 or 3 others on her level, but she's definitely one of the best public servants in the nation.
Gillibrand's certainly more qualified than someone like Harris, but between the Philip Morris stuff and the Emma Sulkowicz BS, she seems rather unsavory.
