Of course, if you're an anti-Trump voter in NY, voting Carson is just as good as voting Cruz or Kasich, provided you don't live in a district that Trump could conceivably lose to Cruz or Kasich.  If it helps get Trump under 50% in your district, a Carson vote is as good as a Cruz or Kasich vote.  The only issue would be if you lived in a district where the Cruz-Kasich margin was close, and you had a strong preference as to which of them should get a delegate.

Correct.  Which is why I am confused why Carson is on the ballot.  Carson endorsed Trump yet he does not take his name off the ballot which could only hurt Trump and not help him all things equal.

Carson's votes are being voided and won't even be reported.

I'm very, very concerned that Trump is under 50, maybe even lower, but I'm glad y'all are optimistic.
Yeah, everything so far is from the city right?

I believe the city and Buffalo.

Specifically, all of NYC plus Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Erie.

Kasich winning Broome County with 41% of the vote. =O

1 precinct...

I wouldn't rule out Kasich winning a county along the Vermont border or somewhere like that, though.

99% sure that was from an error. They have Carson at 11% in Westchester but at about 1% or less in every other county.

Where have all the Republicans gone?

That was back when the NY GOP only voted for delegates directly, and it sums all the delegate votes leading to a much higher total than actual voters. There were actually only 764,429 voters in the 2000 R primary, fewer than today.

Has Cruz been mathematically eliminated from 1237 on the first ballot yet?
