Have they not thought about colour-blind people?

Yeah, they complain about everything.

CNN says new GOP registrations are unusually high.

CNN is saying that 1/5 of the voters in some supposed bellwether precinct are first-timers.

That was a very rough estimate. I'd wait for the entrance poll for anything with actual numbers.

So the GOP guys at a caucus site let a CNN reporter rifle through their voter registration forms.

Yeah not that I'm complaining but it's kind of awkward having cameras inside the actual caucuses. Aren't there laws against this?

Caucuses aren't regulated by state governments.

CBS: #IAcaucus entrance poll results, GOP: only 11% of those who made up their minds in "the last few days" are choosing @RealDonaldTrump

Not terribly surprising.

As a reminder: CNN's first wave of entrance polls in 2012 had Paul leading.

White Evangelicals

26% Cruz
25% Trump
18% Rubio

This kills the Cruz.

Later entrance polls favored Santorum heavily last time around.

Republican caucus by precinct (Trump blue, Cruz yellow, Rubio green, Carson purple, Fiorina red, Santorum orange):

Below is the one that I noticed. I suspect that Santorum spent time there with a group in somebody's living room, who was well respected in the neighborhood, and the host spoke on his behalf at the caucus, and out of respect, folks voted for Rick, knowing that he would know, if they did not.

He won a precinct in Sioux City as well.
